Northampton Fire Department Captain Tom Clark, aka Tommy Twilite stops by to discuss the union busting that’s happening in Wisconsin and elsewhere. We also chat about poetry, and LSD, as we note the passing of Owsley Stanley with a song by one of Bill’s least favorite groups (NOT the one referenced in the title).
It’s an icy morning here in Western Mass – roads are slick, and cars are sliding all over the place, spinning out, careening into each other, and – in some cases – unable to make it uphill. Which bears a striking similarity to the trainwreck that was last night’s Oscar broadcast. Jaz fills Bill in on what he missed.
There’s so much show, and so little time (and room!) to fit it all in!
First we get an update from Bill Scher about what’s happening in Wisconsin.
Then we get a visit from Bob Cilman, Diane Porcella, Ed Sullivan, and Ed’s alter ego Tom Mahnken to talk about the last of the Four Sundays in February, the 20th anniversary of The Really Big Show happening this Sunday.
