Not long after this photo was taken, Bill contracted a lovely cold featuring a case of laryngitis. So, no new show this week. Instead, we take a trip back to March 2011, when the Bill Dwight Show was on the airwaves at Valley Free Radio, and our pals Steve and Orion Sauter stopped by the studio to regale us with tales of Orion’s battle with a brain tumor.
We check in with our old pal Steve Sauter, former director of the Bassett Planetarium at Amherst College, to talk about the recent comet landing, the state of our space program, and whether we’d like to visit Mars (ps – it’s a one way trip).
By the way, if you haven’t heard the comet “singing” yet, check it out!
Our own personal Mr. Science, Steve Sauter, stops by and gives us the lowdown on a newly discovered planet that could possibly support life. Which is good, since it seems like this planet of ours is declining a bit.
Our science guru Steve Sauter stops by the bunker with his son Orion. In addition to dispelling a myth about baby birds, Steve tells us what you REALLY need to do to get rid of mosquitoes. Also, we hear some interesting stories about how Ronald Reagan helped crash a Mars probe, and what really killed Beethoven.
