Join Bill and Jaz at Look Park tomorrow for the 20th annual Transperformance. This year’s theme is “Body Parts.” See how we translate that into costume (don’t worry – there is no chance of us showing up as Slim Goodbody).
Our friend John Hodgman makes his way down from Internetless Hills, MA to use Bill’s wifi to download episodes of The Wire (apparently the discs were out at Pleasant Street Video). While waiting for the downloads to finish, he chats about the end of the Mac vs PC ad campaign, reveals the location of co-star Justin Long’s secret Berkshire hideaway, and discusses his rough-scrabble childhood on the mean streets of Brookline, MA.
While transgendered people still suffer appalling discrimination, Miss Trans New England CEO Christa Hilfers wants to remind us that everyone is worthy of even the most simple kindness: being recognized as beautiful. (Photo: Glenn Koetzner)
Bill is still on vacation, and Jaz is about to spend a few days on an island with her husband’s family; so we thought, what better time to check in with our Hollywood correspondent Tommy Saunders about his experience with vacation? Hoo boy, was his a doozy. We should have billed him for that hour!
